Exchanging Places – Cycling Safety Initiative

On 13th September 2016 J P Dunn Construction took part in the Cycling Safety Initiative “Exchanging Places”. This was held at our Wedge House Project which has the Cycle Superhighway pass directly in front of the site.
The Metropolitan Police provided the 3.5t vehicle and Havebike mechanics carried out the free mechanical checks on the cyclist’s bikes whilst they sat in the in the drivers cab with The Met Police giving them the opportunity to view the road from the drivers perspective including blind spots associated with the use of the vehicle.
We will be carrying out another 2 Exchanging Places events in 2017.
