For JP Dunn, a Health & Safety culture is based on working to a higher standard than the industry recommended best practice and by implementing that ethos and standards at all levels of the company. At JP Dunn, collaborative teamwork and innovation is driven by the belief that everyone has a right to a safe and healthy working environment and that safety should be prioritised above all else.
At JP Dunn our primary aim is to consistently provide our workforce with the information, instruction training and supervision that they need to carry out their works safely, and in a manner that promotes a positive and proactive health and safety culture on every operational site.
With management systems and procedures ISO 45001 accredited, the culture within JP Dunn strives to go above and beyond industry standards by promoting innovation and the right to challenge what is deemed best practice and look for continual improvement.
By promoting a ‘work safe policy’ JP Dunn has created constructive committee forums for all personnel to share constructive feedback, views, ideas and suggestions. Empowering people to work as an efficient team helping them continuously improve and grow.
A high level of safety awareness is achieved for all personnel by providing the necessary training requirements needed to achieve safe delivery of all projects. Whilst continuously developing the skillsets of all personnel, JP Dunn can ensure an excellent overall service and end product to clients, which has repeatedly led to existing clients awarding future project and repeat works to JP Dunn.
JP Dunn is keenly aware of the impact that construction sites may have upon the wider community and have policies and procedures in place that reduce any adverse effect on the local environment. One way that JP Dunn demonstrates this commitment to reducing the impact on the wider community is by being a member of the Considerate Constructors scheme.
In a commitment to maintaining an ethos of safety JP Dunn has been awarded a CLOCS Champions accreditation as a direct result of implementing construction traffic safety awareness programmes in conjunction with The Met Police and Havbike.
