JP Dunn Construction were delighted to be awarded their first contract with Regal on the Fulton & Fifth project in Wembley. This large-scale residential scheme includes five apartment blocks and over 800 homes, interwoven with landscaped gardens, paved walkways, and a green corridor. The development also features retail units, shopfronts, and workspaces intended to support local creatives and independent businesses.
JP Dunn delivered all substructure elements for the development, including:
Underground drainage
Pile caps
Ground beams
9,000m² of ground floor slab
1,500m² of suspended slabs
The project involved close coordination with PCE, who installed the pre-cast frame, on a site with particularly constrained access.
A key component of the substructure involved installing a combined gas and waterproof membrane across over **15,200m²**, supplied by **Cetco**. This membrane was installed by JP Dunn’s own operatives and signed off by a third-party inspector.
The largest pile cap on site measured 900m³ and was poured in a single day, marking JP Dunn’s largest single pour in its 25-year history.
The pour took 13 hours
Used low-carbon concrete containing 70% GGBS cement replacement
Employed two static pumps and one mobile crane pump
Total concrete poured: 14,200m³
Total reinforcement fixed: 2,300 tons
