Another regeneration project secured

Following hot on the heels starting the regeneration projects at Aylesbuy Estate (for Vistry) and the various schemes in Westminster (for Osbornes), J P Dunn Construction have now been appointed on another new major residential scheme – this time in Havering on behalf of Wates. Twelve council estates are being regenerated by the London Borough of Havering. The first of the 12 projects is the replacement of Napier and New Plymouth House, two poor quality 13 storey tower blocks. In their place are being built mid-rise, high density buildings arranged around new open spaces and public realm. There will be 197 new homes in a mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments, of which 64% will be affordable. J P Dunn will be carrying out groundworks and RC frames with a value of £8m. Works commence at the end of November 2020.
