New Contract for the University of Winchester

18 Nov 2017

J P Dunn Construction have been awarded a new contract with Osbornes for the substructure, RC frame and external works to the West Downs Teaching and Learning Centre, which forms part of the University of Winchester. The new building is being built on undeveloped land within the West Downs site next to the Grade-II-listed West Downs Centre, and will provide first-class teaching and learning facilities and will be home to the University’s new computer and digital-related degree programmes.

For J P Dunn Construction and Osbornes this will be a follow-up to their successful collaboration at Royal Holloway College which was handed over in the summer of 2017. The contract value is £5.5m with groundworks commencing in December 2017. The J P Dunn package will be managed by Stephen Brown.
