About the role (SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER)

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of RC Frame and
groundworks projects from start to finish. This includes ensuring the project is completed safely, on time,
within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Snr PM will liaise with clients, consultants, and
internal teams, managing resources, developing programmes, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory
and health & safety requirements. They will be semi-autonomous and take singular responsibility for
projects of any size.

Responsibilities (SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER)

  • Develop and manage detailed construction programmes and schedules.
  • Monitor progress against programme milestones and take corrective action as required.
  • Oversee health and safety compliance across all site operations, ensuring RAMS are in place and
    adhered to.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets and costs, including subcontractor and supplier payments.
  • Lead project meetings, coordinate design and technical submissions, and liaise with
    stakeholders.
  • Review and authorise site reports, resource allocations, and procurement schedules.
    Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain effective communication across site teams, directors, clients, and third parties.
    Ensure quality assurance procedures are implemented and adhered to throughout.

Candidate requirements (SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER)

  • NVQ LVL 7 or Master Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a Project Manager role within RC Frame or groundworks sector.
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Black Card
  • First Aid certification
  • Temporary Works Coordinator
  • Membership of professional body – ICE, CIOB, APM, RICS
  • Can compile programmes from inception and resource labour accordingly in Asta power project.
  • Understanding of various document management systems.
  • Demonstrable experience managing health & safety, programme, and costs.
  • Extensive contractual experience both NEC & JCT
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills

  • Proficient in Asta power project.
  • Working Awareness of various document management systems.
