Welcome to J P Dunn Construction The Company was founded in 1999 by Jonathan Dunn as a specialist trade contractor carrying out groundworks and reinforced concrete frames. The Company has an established management team many of whom have been with the Company since its inception. We undertake labour, plant and material contracts ranging in value from £500,000 to £6,000,000. We operate in London and the Home Counties. In 2003 the Company built its own offices in Twickenham. In March 2008 we relocated to larger premises nearby on Twickenham Green. We have steadily invested in our own plant and machinery. Initially the company built its reputation carrying out major substructure packages including deep basement construction, temporary works solutions, specialist paving, swimming pool construction, works to public sewers and water supplies. Repeat business was established with major clients with whom we still work today, such as Carillion, Wates and John Sisk and Son plc. In the last few years, without diminishing the company's groundwork's capabilities, there has an increased emphasis on the construction of reinforced concrete frames. Each project poses different challenges, programme, access, buildability, standard of finish etc., and requires the appropriate skills and expertise to ensure successful delivery. A cross section of some recent projects indicates the range of works undertaken.
The Company’s turnover has steadily increased and for the financial year ending in March 2011 was £15 million. This figure will increase to around £25 million in the current year with prestigious work already secured and well underway including projects in Richmond town centre (for BAM) and at Pembroke College in Oxford (for Kingerlee). The controlled expansion of the business will continue with a sharp focus on delivering all projects on programme, safely and to the quality required by Clients.
