TRAINING

The Company is committed to boosting skills and maintaining a fully trained workforce.

• All staff and operatives hold a CSCS and / or CPCS card.
• Any operatives without a skilled worker qualification are engaged on an NVQ
• Staff are fully trained and encouraged to hold membership of a professional body
• All site managers hold the minimum of a CSCS gold card and have completed a SSMTS or SMMTS managers course
• The company is committed to supporting apprentices via the CONSTRUCT courses at the National Construction College at Bircham Newton
• Extensive onsite and offsite training is undertaken evidence of which is held both onsite and centrally at head office. Job specific training includes:
  
  
  • Erection of false-work systems and scaffold.
  • Use of disc cutters / mounting of abrasive wheels and powder actuated tools.
  • Work in confined spaces.
  • Road and street-works.
  • Banking and slinging.
  • Operation of 360° excavators, dumpers and rollers.
  • Manual handling.
