					OUR PEOPLE JONATHAN DUNN Jonathan joined John Laing Construction as a Sponsored Student in 1980. He graduated in quantity surveying from Aston University in Birmingham in 1984 and remained with Laings until 1988 working in various roles on central London projects. From 1989 to 1999 Jonathan was employed by two different groundworks business both as Surveying Director and then Managing Director before setting up his own company in 1999. Since then the business has expanded to its current annual turnover of £14 million delivering a series of projects of varying complexity and size. The co-operative culture of the business is a reflection of Jonathan's own ethos as is demonstrated by the level of repeat business. Jonathan has a hands-on role in the production, health and safety and quality on each site. SEAN HART Sean graduated in quantity surveying at Nottingham Trent University in 1994. He joined Wates Construction in 1994 and worked with them in various quantity surveying roles until 2000. Sean joined J P Dunn in the same year and became the Surveying Director in 2003. Sean's aim is to reinforce long term client relationship by avoiding disputes, accurate financial forecasting and prompt final account settlement. MICK DURIE Mick was appointed as the Contracts Director for the business on 1 st October 2006 with overall responsibility for production, health and safety and quality on sites. Mick graduated with a Batchelor of Engineering with Distinction in Civil Engineering from the University of Abertay Dundee. Mick's initial years were with P.J.Careys where he progressed from a setting-out engineer to site manager on projects in Scotland ranging from £300k to £7.5m. He then joined Brannigans in 2003 as a Contracts Manager running jobs up to £2m, before joining J.P.Construction Ltd in February 2006. Mick is supported in his role by an established team of site managers and engineers most of who have been with the Company for a number of years. DERMOT O'BRIEN Dermot brings immense experience gained over 30 years to the business. Having originally studied at South Bank and trained with a private practice, Dermot spent a number of years in general contracting with McInnerneys. Since 1980 Dermot has been in senior positions with groundworks businesses (both commercial and operational roles) and worked with Jonathan Dunn between 1987 and 1997 at C F Harrington (Builders) Ltd. In 2001 Dermot was appointed the Commercial Director of the Company with specific responsibility for tendering and marketing. DAVID EAGLESHAM David trained as an Accountant in Norwich and worked for 24 years for an agricultural merchant turning over £100million becoming Finance Director. For the last ten years David has worked in construction/development and joined J P Dunn in 1999 as Finance Director.
